About Alan
Alan is a full time Realtor®, working with both buyers and sellers. He grew up in Arcadia and attended the local schools, then graduated from San Diego State University in 1983 with a degree in Finance and Business Administration. After college, Alan went into the video business and opened two stores: one in south Arcadia, and the other in Duarte called Movie Time Video, which rented and sold VHS movies. He ran that business for four years before selling it in 1987 to pursue a career in real estate. After his first year, he was awarded Rookie of the Year, and has consistently ranked in the Top 10%.
In 2001, Alan joined Dilbeck Real Estate and managed several San Gabriel Valley offices. In 2006 he partnered up with Shelley Wingate, a realtor associate, to form the dynamic team that they are today. In October of 2019 after 19 years of management, Alan stepped down from management to devote 100% of his time to real estate sales. Alan and his wife Ruth were married in 1989, and live in Arcadia. They have two children: their daughter Taylor, and son Daniel. Alan enjoys boating, golfing, and cycling.
