Dana Lee - REALTOR®
Sometimes you need to leave a place to appreciate it. The day after Thanksgiving 1985 I packed my little Honda car leaving SoCal for the east coast, ending up in Boston with a new life. As a fourth-generation Pasadena girl, I was driven to explore. I started a successful career in food & beverage manufacturing sales at fortune 500 companies - General Foods, Kraft, P & G - which brought me to the Midwest and pacific northwest. I said a long goodbye to my wonderful mother who gave me the greatest gift she ever gave to me, her home. I blissfully returned to my childhood house in Sierra Madre, CA in 2013 with Midwest beginnings of a new career in real estate but corporate national sales opportunities kept me busy until the 2020 pandemic.
Now licensed in California, my corporate and prior real estate sales experience have merged with my deep knowledge of Southern California, work/personal experience buying and selling homes, corporate relocation, and second home purchases. I am a skilled negotiator, a detail-oriented problem solver and a master communicator.
I have two precious daughters, one starting a Master’s program in Psychology and the other finishing her degree in Biology with a dual emphasis in medicine and wildlife/conservation. Happily married to a brilliant JPL Network Engineer, we share lots of personal space with 2 big German Shepherds, 2 silly kitties and an inherited house bunny. We greatly enjoy a second home in Big Bear Lake as well as the beaches, deserts, rivers, etc. reachable by those of us lucky enough to live in SoCal! This is my home, where’s home for you?
“…a home is a home because it blurs the line between the self and the surroundings, and challenges the line we try to draw between who we are and where we are.”
Julie Beck, The Atlantic, The Psychology of Home: Why Where You Live Means So Much
