Don Valantine - REALTOR®
Don Valantine, a 20+ year veteran real estate professional, brings a lot to the table at Dilbeck. He has won numerous awards in his career. But, more than his experience and success, he believes that a genuine desire to help people through the challenging process of buying or selling their home is among his highest priorities. “I know many people feel overwhelmed when they decide to buy or sell a home….it can be very stressful. I enjoy answering concerns, solving problems, and keeping things moving forward”. Don’s communication skills, diplomatic style, and attention to detail allow his clients to feel at ease at every turn. “Even after many years in real estate I recognize that each transaction has its own unique challenges. I’m here to walk you through the entire process start to finish, while representing you and keep you protected.”
Don was born and raised in southern California and has lived here his entire life. He grew up attending school in the Glendale/Burbank area as a youth. “In addition to the Glendale/Burbank area, I have also lived in La Crescenta, Porter Ranch, West Hills, Granada Hills, Northridge and now Santa Clarita.” Don believes that his experience qualifies him to help people with their housing needs and because he is familiar with many different areas. Don received his Bachelor’s Degree in English from California State University, Northridge. Prior to real estate, he worked in the legal industry as a paralegal and later, office manager servicing many law firms in DTLA and southern California. He learned his strong customer service skills serving the demanding needs of attorneys and legal secretaries. “My legal background was good training for the many legal aspects of selling homes.”
As you can tell, Don is a multi-dimensional type of guy. In addition to helping people with their real estate needs, he regularly serves as a musician in an all-volunteer orchestra as well as being involved in community theater. “Music and acting are great for rewiring my brain, and participating in these satisfies my love of the arts”. You might catch Don at a local Shakespeare production or at the Hollywood Bowl listening to the LA Phil, a jazz club, or a concert in the park. He loves the outdoors, art museums, trips to the Sierras, Dodger games, BBQ’s with friends, and golf.
Don would enjoy the opportunity to help you, family and friends, and including you on his list of very satisfied customers. Don’t hesitate to contact him!
