Corporate Executive. Real Estate Mentor. Community Member. These are just a few words that describe Dilbeck Real Estate’s Westlake Village Branch Manager, Chuck Lech.
The Conejo Simi Moorpark Association of Realtors awarded Lech the Realtor of the Year, after his successful decades-long career and involvement with the Real Estate community.
“What is the significance of receiving this award? It is the acknowledgement from your peers of the contribution you have made to our community and our industry. Each recipient has a passion for wanting to see things improve, for wanting to be a part of the process, and to be a part of the ever-changing and growing real estate industry. Yet, not all of us started our careers as Realtors and this year’s recipient is no different,” said Charlene Siemon, CSMAR board member.
Lech has 25 years of experience in Sales, Purchasing, and Real Estate Management with Fortune 500 corporations.
As an experienced agent, broker, and mentor, Lech has lead over 700 negotiation seminars throughout the United States, Canada and Asia for Karrass Seminars, a leader in the industry.
“Support, encouragement, and problem solving. Chuck Lech is a coach, a counselor and a friend and I'm a better agent because of him,” said Dilbeck Realtor Tim Freund.
Lech served as President of the Conejo Simi Moorpark Association of Realtors in 2014, and has served on a number of Association committees over the years, including the MLS task force, Building/Assets, and Budget/Finance. He has worked to address community and housing issues, serving on the Measure I Citizens’ Bond Oversight Committee, and is currently serving a second term on the Area Housing Authority Board.
“His family, who helped me write this speech, describes him as a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. For those of us that know him and work with him, he is a born leader, fair-minded, kind, intelligent, dedicated, compassionate, generous, ‘so nice’ and ‘such a gentleman’. I couldn’t agree more,” Siemon said.
