Michale McGee began her real estate career in 2004, and joined Dilbeck because she liked the people and the atmosphere in the offices. She has a degree in Psychology and Social Work, and has a background as a social worker. Michale enjoys helping people buy homes, and making their real estate dreams come true. Originally from Ohio, Michale moved to California in 1998, and currently lives in Burbank.

Q: Favorite local coffee shop?

A: I like Starbucks; I don’t drink coffee I only drink tea, I get the refreshers that they have.

Q: Favorite local hangout spot?

A: I like this place called Anejo Cantina and Grill in Sherman Oaks, it’s a Mexican place.

Q: Favorite day trip?

A: Santa Barbara.

Q: Favorite hobby?

A: Traveling, my last trip was New York. I like the islands; I’ve been to St. Lucia, St. Martin, Jamaica, Barbados, St. Kit’s, the Caymans, Bahamas, St. Thomas, St. Mark, but Barbados is my favorite.

Q: Favorite weekend excursion?

A: I like San Diego, I like to go to the restaurants, night life, and places by the water.

Q: Favorite organization to volunteer for?

A: I volunteer for many organizations through my Sorority. I like helping kids; we volunteer for Ascend, we take kids from lower income families on field trips and help them prepare for college and reach their career goals.

Q: Favorite Park or recreational area?

A: Runyon Canyon.

Q: Favorite hidden treasure (hole-in-the-wall)?

A: There’s some nice spots in Malibu like Malibu fish market, it’s not a huge place but the food’s amazing.

Q: Favorite family fun adventure?

A: Most of my family lives in the mid-west so we do a lot of trips together, we do family trips and cruises.

Q: Favorite place to shop?

A: I like Nordstrom Rack, Marshall’s sometimes, Macy’s once in awhile, the GAP, and Banana Republic.

Q: Favorite holiday tradition in this neighborhood?

A: Since my daughter was young, I would always buy her Christmas Pajama’s, and we would all get up on Christmas day with our Christmas pajama’s on and take a picture together. Even though she’s in college now, we still do keep this tradition.

Q: Favorite building or architectural style?

A:  I like modern, re-modeled type homes.

Q: Favorite thing about working and living in this community?

A: I love the weather here, the people are nice, it’s family-oriented, I can walk my dog at night and feel safe.
