Alan Black and Shelley Wingate formed their partnership in 2006. In 2012, 2013 and again in 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022 they were the #1 Team in the Pasadena office. They have over 50 years of combined Real Estate experience. Representing both Buyers and Sellers throughout California, from small condos to large Beverly Hills estates.

In addition to handling both regular real estate listings and purchases for their clients, they have created an additional niche business. Trust sales, or helping Seller's transition to assisted living or other accommodations, have become the majority of their business.

Whether you live in the area or out of state, they can coordinate the process. They work with many service providers and can meet them at the property, supervise them and provide you with frequent updates. If needed, they can assist you with estate sales, donations, repairs and prepping the home for sale.

Alan Black grew up in Arcadia and attended the local schools. He graduated from San Diego State University in 1983 with a degree in Finance and Business Administration. In 1984, Alan went into the video business by opening a store which sold and rented VHS movies and equipment. He ran that business for 3 years before selling it in 1987 to pursue a career in real estate. After 14 years as a sales agent, he joined the Dilbeck Management team in 2001 as the Branch Manager of the Pasadena office. In October of 2019 after 19 years in management, he stepped down to spend 100% of his time in Real Estate sales. Alan and his wife Ruth were married in 1989 and live in Arcadia. They have 2 children, a daughter Taylor and a son Daniel. Alan enjoys cycling, golf and water sports.

Shelley Wingate was born in Pasadena and grew up in South Pasadena. She moved back to Pasadena in 1995 when she purchased her first home. Shelley entered the real estate industry in 2004 after leaving a 23-year career as a retail executive, where she was a Buyer for Women’s Shoes for a major 72-store chain. Shelley was board member and multi-event chair for Pasadena-Foothills Association of Realtors Charitable Foundation (PFARCF) for 10 years, during which time they raised over 1 million dollars for local charities. She was also a “White Suit” member of the Tournament of Roses for 8 years. Shelley earned her Graduate REALTOR Institute (GRI) and Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES) designations and is an Estates Director within Dilbeck. Shelley loves to travel and spends her spare time with the love of her life, her little dog, Abbey Rose.
